One wrong address shouldn’t cost you everything.
Coinbax Send holds your stablecoins in on-chain escrow for a window you choose. If something is wrong, cancel for a full refund. If not, it settles on its own.
- Non-custodial: your keys, your money
- Settles on Base in minutes
- Sanctions-screened before it moves
- No swaps, no conversion: USDC stays USDC
- Cancel for a full refund during your window
How it works
1. Connect your wallet
MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet. No sign-up, no deposit, no custody — you send straight from the wallet you already use.
2. Set the terms
Choose the recipient, the amount, and how long the payment should stay reversible — anywhere from 5 minutes to 7 days. You see the exact total, fee included, before you sign.
3. Stay in control while it settles
Your funds sit in an on-chain escrow contract — not with the recipient, not with Coinbax. Cancel for a full refund, release early, or let the contract release automatically when your window passes.
1 · You sign once
- Ana800 USDC
- Luis800 USDC
- Sofía800 USDC
Three payments, one wallet signature — 2,400 USDC total, shown before you sign.
2 · Coinbax controls protect it
- ✓ Sanctions checkYou and all three contractors are screened against the OFAC list — automatically, before any money moves.
- ⏱ 24-hour windowThe money waits in an escrow contract on Base. Wrong address? Cancel that payment and it comes straight back.
3 · Your team gets paid
- Ana✓ received
- Luis✓ received
- Sofía✓ received
USDC lands in their own wallets in minutes — no wires, no waiting days.
- one signature pays the whole team
- cancel any payment during the window — full refund
- Coinbax never holds the money
You stay in control
On most networks, a payment is final the instant you sign it. Coinbax Send puts a window between signing and settlement — enforced by a smart contract on Base, not by a policy — and protects you four ways during it:
cancel
Cancel and refund.
Sent to the wrong address, or the deal changed? Cancel any time during the hold window and the full amount returns to your wallet.
release
Release early.
Recipient confirmed and everything checks out? Release the funds immediately — you never have to wait out your own window.
auto
Automatic release.
Do nothing, and the escrow contract releases the funds to your recipient the moment the window passes. No follow-up required.
fail-safe
Reaper auto-refund.
If a compliance check fails or a transfer wedges while your money sits in escrow, the Coinbax platform’s Reaper mechanism automatically refunds it to your wallet. Funds can never be stranded.
Screened before it settles
Every send runs compliance controls before any funds move. Sender and recipient addresses are screened against the OFAC, EU, and UN sanctions lists through Chainalysis, and amount limits are checked up front. If a send would touch a sanctioned address, it stops before your wallet is ever asked to sign. Optional SMS verification can add a second factor to fund release.
Your keys, your money
Coinbax Send is non-custodial by design, and that design is absolute: your wallet signs every transaction that moves money. While a payment is in its hold window, the funds are held by an on-chain escrow contract — Coinbax holds no key that can take custody of them or redirect them. There are no swaps, no currency conversion, and no exchange anywhere in the flow. USDC stays USDC, USDT stays USDT, and your stablecoins move point-to-point from your wallet to your recipient.
Built for real payments
Pay multiple people in one signature
Batch sending delivers to multiple recipients in a single atomic transaction — every payment enters escrow together or none do, and each one keeps its own hold-window protection.
Verify recipients before you pay them
Save recipients to an address book and, before a large transfer, invite them to confirm by email that the wallet address is really theirs.
Know the total before you sign
Every send shows a complete quote — amount, fee, and the exact total leaving your wallet — before your wallet is asked to sign. No hidden charges, ever.
Send works nearly everywhere stablecoins do
USDC moves wallet-to-wallet on Base, so your recipient can be anywhere. These are the corridors where stablecoin transfers — and Coinbax Send's escrow protection — matter most:
Frequently asked questions
What is Coinbax Send?
Coinbax Send is a non-custodial web app for sending USDC and USDT on the Base network with escrow protection. Every transfer is held in an on-chain smart contract for a window you choose, so a mistaken payment can be cancelled before it settles. It is built and operated by Coinbax.
How does escrow protection work?
When you send, funds move from your wallet into an escrow smart contract on Base — not to the recipient, and never to Coinbax. They stay there for a hold window you pick, from 5 minutes to 7 days. During that window you can cancel for a full refund or release the funds early. Once the window passes, the funds release to the recipient.
Can I cancel a transfer after sending it?
Yes. While your hold window is open, you can cancel the transfer and the full amount returns to your wallet. After the window passes, or after you choose to release early, the transfer is final.
Which stablecoins and networks are supported?
Coinbax Send supports USDC and USDT on the Base network. Tokens are never swapped or converted — the recipient receives exactly the token and amount you sent, minus nothing.
Do I need an account to send?
No. Connect a wallet — MetaMask, Coinbase Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet — and send. An optional free account, created by signing a message with your wallet, adds saved contacts and the ability to ask a recipient to confirm their address by email before you pay them.
What does it cost?
Before you sign anything, Coinbax Send shows a complete quote: the amount, the fee, and the exact total that will leave your wallet. Nothing moves until you approve that quote in your wallet, and there are no hidden charges afterward.
Does Coinbax ever hold my funds?
No. Coinbax Send is non-custodial. Your wallet signs every transaction that moves money, funds are held by an on-chain smart contract during the escrow window, and Coinbax holds no key that can take custody of or redirect them. There are no swaps, no currency conversion, and no exchange — your stablecoins move point-to-point.
Can I send to multiple people at once?
Yes. Batch sending pays multiple recipients in a single transaction with one wallet signature. The batch is atomic — either every payment enters escrow or none do — and each recipient gets the same hold-window protection as a single send.
