One wrong address shouldn’t cost you everything.
Coinbax Send holds your stablecoins in on-chain escrow for an undo window you choose — 5 minutes to 7 days. Wrong address, wrong amount, spoofed invoice? Cancel and your send amount returns to your wallet. All good? It settles on its own.
- Non-custodial: your keys, your money
- Undo window: 5 minutes to 7 days, you choose
- Settles on Base in minutes
- Sanctions-screened before it moves
- Independently audited by Consensys Diligence
- No swaps, no conversion: USDC stays USDC
- Cancel during your window: your send amount comes back

Send now. Undo if you need to.
On a normal transfer, a wrong address or amount is final the instant you sign. Coinbax Send holds every payment in escrow for an undo window you choose, enforced by a contract on Base, so a slip is reversible instead of gone.
Controls
Safeguards that run inside every send
Every send runs the same set of controls: sanctions screening, the hold window, and optional verification steps. Enforced by the contract, not by policy.
Frequently asked questions
What is Coinbax Send?
Coinbax Send is a non-custodial web app for sending USDC and USDT with escrow protection, starting on the Base network. Every transfer is held in an on-chain smart contract for a window you choose, so a mistaken payment can be cancelled before it settles. It is built and operated by Coinbax.
How does escrow protection work?
When you send, funds move from your wallet into an escrow smart contract on Base — not to the recipient, and never to Coinbax. They stay there for a hold window you pick, from 5 minutes to 7 days. During that window you can cancel and the full send amount returns to your wallet, or release the funds early. The service fee is retained on a cancel — it pays for the escrow protection itself, including the undo. Once the window passes, the funds release to the recipient.
Is Coinbax Send safe?
Safety is the whole point of Coinbax Send, and it comes from how the product is built rather than from trusting us. Your funds never sit in a Coinbax account — they move from your wallet into an on-chain escrow smart contract on Base, and your send amount returns to you if you cancel; Coinbax holds no key that can move or redirect them. The escrow contracts are public and independently verifiable on the Base network, every transfer is screened against sanctions lists before any funds move, and you keep an undo window on each send. Smart-contract transactions still carry inherent risk, which we describe in our Terms.
Have the smart contracts been audited?
Yes. The Coinbax escrow smart contracts have been independently audited by Consensys Diligence, one of the most established smart-contract security teams in the industry. The contracts are also public and verifiable on the Base network, so their behavior can be inspected directly rather than taken on trust. As with any smart contract, on-chain transactions still carry inherent risk, which we describe in our Terms.
Can I cancel a transfer after sending it?
Yes. While your hold window is open, you can cancel the transfer and the full send amount returns to your wallet. The service fee is retained — it pays for the escrow protection itself, including the undo. After the window passes, or after you choose to release early, the transfer is final.
What does it cost?
Coinbax Send charges 0.5% of the amount you send, with a minimum of $1.00 and a maximum of $50.00 per send (the cap is reached at a $10,000 send). That fee is all-in — gas and network fees are included, so there is nothing else to pay. It is added on top of your send, so your recipient receives the full amount you entered, and the exact total is shown in the quote before you sign. If you cancel during your window, the send amount returns to your wallet and the fee is retained.
Which stablecoins and networks are supported?
Coinbax Send supports USDC and USDT on the Base network today. More networks and stablecoins are on the roadmap. Tokens are never swapped or converted — the recipient receives exactly the token and amount you sent, minus nothing.
Do I need an account to send?
No. Connect a wallet — MetaMask, Base Wallet, or any WalletConnect-compatible wallet — and send. An optional free account, created by signing a message with your wallet, adds saved contacts and the ability to ask a recipient to confirm their address by email before you pay them.
Does Coinbax ever hold my funds?
No. Coinbax Send is non-custodial. Your wallet signs every transaction that moves money. During the escrow window, funds are held by an on-chain smart contract — Coinbax holds no key that can take custody of them or redirect them. There are no swaps, no currency conversion, and no exchange — your stablecoins move point-to-point.
Can I send to multiple people at once?
Yes. Batch sending pays multiple recipients in a single transaction with one wallet signature. The batch is atomic — either every payment enters escrow or none do — and each recipient gets the same hold-window protection as a single send.
Who is Coinbax Send for?
Anyone moving meaningful amounts on-chain to addresses they cannot fully verify: freelancers and contractors settling invoices, DAOs paying contributors, families sending money across borders, and funds handling capital calls or investor distributions. If you have ever triple-checked an address before hitting send, the undo window is for you.
